Educational Awards Programs
Helping Make Dreams Come True
The Live Your Dream Awards assist women entering or re-entering the workforce to obtain the education and skills training they need to improve their employment status. The cash awards may be used for any expenses related to educational pursuits. The program begins at the club level. Local winners then become eligible to receive region–level awards. Region-level winners competed nationally for $10,000 awards.
The Violet Richardson Awards recognize young women between the ages of 14 and 18 who make the world a better place through volunteer efforts, especially those that benefit women or girls. This special Oakland club award is named for the very first Soroptimist Club President.
